The ALPFFIRS Recommendations represent some suggestions drawn up by the ALPFFIRS consortium with the aim to make aware the policy makers and the local governments as concerns forest fire prevention and forest protection in the frawework of climate changing.
They have been translated into the Alpine Space languages to be handed over the regional political representatives which attended the ALPFFIRS Final Meeting (held in Turin, 15th-16th June 2012).
The Recommendations are based on two former documents:

2) the report drawn up in March 2010 by a Commission Green Paper "On forest protection and information in the EU:preparing forests for climate”:
